A few thoughts

The following are just my thoughts about the things going on in this country and in the state I live in (currently Arizona).

On May 1st, the community of migrant workers (these included legal and illegal migrants), was supposed to boycott everything and everybody. They were to stay home, not go to work or school and they were not to spend their money. This was to show the impact they have on the economy of the United States. As of this posting (9:47 p.m. Arizona time), I had not heard what that impact was or even if there was an impact.

It is my opinion that one day was not going to make an impact at all. I could be wrong, after all I do get it wrong at times. I also think that part of the problem lies with those who employ illegal immigrants. Typically the wages are lower than they would be if they were legal immigrants or U. S. citizens. After all why pay $7.00/hour when you can pay $5.50 or less?
